I am having this same problem. I link to Twitter when I publish something here. I have tried promoting my book there as well. I retweet. And that’s about the extent of my knowledge as to the purpose of my Twitter account. I refuse to get into shouting matches over politics, there or anywhere. I want my writing to mean more than that. If I come up with anything more than this, I will come back and let you know.
