I can’t receive packages in mine either, and since they refuse to come down our road, if something package wise is delivered by USPS, I get a slip telling me to come to the post office. It drives me bonkers. UPS and FedEx come all the way to the house with no issue. It’s frustrating because I have Amazon Prime, so if something is delivered 2 day, but arrives on a Saturday, I can’t get it until Monday. I pay for the service so I can get things quickly. And honestly, I can’t stand dealing with the post office, so the last thing I want to do is actually drive there!
