I have always been a voracious reader, since I learned to read. And opposite you, 90% of what I’ve always read was fiction. I HATED non-fiction, would get outright pissed when required to read non-fiction for school. Obviously, I read mostly non-fiction here, which is what finally made me start reading more of it in book form.
I definitely got tired of the recycled bullshit “business” advice books very quickly. They are soul stealing. Frankl’s book is phenomenal, and I wish I had read it years ago. Currently “listening” to Ryan Holiday’s newest, Conspiracy, which is pretty interesting so far, but I have the hardest time with audiobooks apparently. I think I’m going to have to wait until I can actually purchase it to get through it.
Thanks for this, it was a great read.
