I have the Fitbit. Now, to get off my duff, again. I was averaging around 8000 steps per day for the first few months after I got it. And then it got cold and my trick knee said oh heck no! That knee also does not allow me to walk on a treadmill (nor does my vertigo) so that is out as well. There are no indoor tracks or such around here (I live in BFE). I am trying to figure out a way around this drama, because I felt so much better when I was walking. I have gotten the food part down, I lost 60 pounds between changing up my diet (not dieting, lifestyle change!) and just simply walking; I don’t want to go back to that woman who couldn’t walk up a flight of stairs without losing her breath, or even walk around the block without feeling like she was DYING.
