I think this is important to think about, if only so you can realize a pen name doesn’t make you less authentic. Writers have done it for centuries. We have to protect ourselves however we can.

You know I write under two accounts for this very reason. Chloe isn’t my first name either, but it is a nickname most everyone who knows me is aware of so it’s not really much of a stretch. Which is why when I decided to open up even more, I created a true ‘alter ego’

It’s still me, I’m just freer to be me.
