Jenny — Thanks for reading and responding.
I’m not referring to time between curation of articles. I understand that pain as well for sure.
What I mean here is, I published, and it’s still saying “We’re processing this story, hang tight!”
It doesn’t say, “Not distributed in topics” which would tell me it was viewed and denied.
It doesn’t say wasn’t distributed due to high volume, which would tell me I’m in curation jail.
This is the first time I’ve had something sit for this long without being reviewed at all. I’m in a group of other female writers in a group chat and apparently I’m not the only one. It just made me wonder if there’s something going on. Another change, perhaps?
It was also posited that the change to the front page wasn’t a good thing, after all. A lot of us are happy to see people we actually want to read up there, instead of Medium owned pubs, but the truth of the matter is, it’s screwing with the algorithm and keeping Medium from showing up in searches off the platform.
I think the Medium gods may want to go back to the drawing board.
Just my 2 cents.
(which is probably what I’ll make off this article! lol)
