Sweet Dreams Are Made of This

Sometimes, all we need to do is believe in our dreams to reach our goals.

When it comes to dreams, I’ve had my fair share. As I’ve grown and matured, I like to think my dreams have as well. In reality, more often than not, I’ve let go of them because they just didn’t seem workable.

I’ve always had this misconception about when certain things should happen. According to society, I screwed up at an early age.

As women, we’re expected to do things a certain way. Enter a relationship, get married, have babies, take care of our families.

Yeah, I ignored that memo.

Although I had my first child at a young age, there’s nothing about it I regret. Yes, it was difficult, but I made it work.

Mostly, without help.

We all move at our own pace. Sometimes, all we need to do is believe in our dreams. When we finally reach our goals, we’ll know it was worth what it took to get there. Because the view will be even better than you imagined.

The problem is, we’re so conditioned to listen to what we’ve been told, often, we abandon our dreams before we have a chance to realize them. When we don’t do things in the order society says we should or when we chose to skip certain steps, we begin…
