Tim — I’m glad to see you writing about this. I saw so many people making predictions into the wind, before the changes actually hit, that folks with huge followings might see a downturn in their earnings, simply because they were likely getting claps because of who they were, not what they wrote.

And that could be true.

But in the end, I think it will even out. There are people, like you, who do have large following, that actually write with meaning and vulnerability. I know not everyone who follows you may actually read what you write. They may be following you simply because you do have a huge following. And that’s okay, their loss. What you write is intelligent, vulnerable, and informative.

There are others here, with even larger followings, that I’ll never understand how they got, who are probably doing even worse than you’ve discussed. Because I don’t think they have a brain cell in their heads. Their writing is vacuous, meaningless, and copy pasted. I highly doubt anyone is actually taking the time to read it, so they will no longer be making money from those quick scroll and claps.

I believe, given time, your stats will go back to where they were, or better.
