Yes! I truly wish some days that my brain had an “off” switch. But then, knowing my luck, I wouldn’t be able to turn it back on :)
The pain is a bitch as well. It wakes me up, keeps me from falling asleep, and probably contributes to the nightmares if I am actually sleeping. Between that and restless legs and random twitching, it sucks.
I do a lot of the same when I can’t sleep. I know better than to continue to lie in bed trying to sleep, it’s not healthy. It makes the bed seem like a bad place, if that makes sense. I would just like to get on a better schedule, simply so it’s more in line with the rest of the household.
